Just a few days ago my Sony Vaio’s Hard drive: Seagate Momentus ST9250827 AS 250 GB 5400.4 RPM crashed and started making this sound. If you are facing the same problem then dont worry Data recovery is possible and you can do it by your own and save around 00 of data recovery. I recovered the data by plugging it into an external USB enclosure. But remember this can be done only once and there’s 85-90% chance that your drive will be dead after that because this what happened to mine..
