Question by Mister Magalang: will there be any problem bringing a desktop computer to another country?
I’m presently working here in UK and I have a desktop computer that I bought last year in the Philippines when I went home, I’ll be going home again within a few weeks and I’d like to bring the cpu of this computer and use here in UK. The software that was installed is not an original we had used a pirated microsoft cd installer but I have a plan to reinstall an original one. Will I be facing any problem once they inspect my luggage from the airport of origin to the airport of my destination?

yes there is a problem in transfering the pirated copy of any software. i thin you can follow this take a copy of the OS in an mp3 stick og 1GB and add some mp3 files and bring the OS. and unpack all the hardwares and before that format the Harddisc and make a backup copy of your Desktop computer nad transfer the PC to new place.

im trying to avoid buying computer speakers. i already use my hdtv as the computer monitor not i need to know what kind of cord i need to use to connect it to the surround sound. the surround sound will accept the standard red/white plugs. i need to know what this sort of cord is called so i can find it on ebay or at bestbuy later.

i made one out of some old earphones the jack end off the end of that connected to the two red and white jack plugs to go into your stereo,works great 4 me

I have a HP Digital entertainment center hooked up via DVI/HDMI interface to my Yamaha AV receiver to my Sony LCD TV by HDMI. I can barely see the edge of my desktop. I have tried changing the video settings on my TV and resolution on the computer. Nothing has worked. Thanks!!

Question by DLB: Why am I not able to get my Canon PowerShot A510 digital camera to work w/my Dell desktop computer?
I am running Windows 2000 Professional. I downloaded the software from disk supplied by Canon. I restart my computer & remove the disk, per instructions. I then connect the camera to the computer, turn it on, then I’m taken on a round-n-round journey to install the driver & new hardward. I’m able to install the camera thru the Control Panel. I just can’t seem to get my computer & camera to get along & work together! Help!

have you tried pluggin them into a USB cable? setting the camera next to the computer doesnt give then some super frequency for transmitting files or anything
