Question by : How to protect a security device from a sudden spike in voltage?
i intalled a “motion sensor device
” for security purpose. i have a problem, where i live “abroad, not the states” electricity is only served a few hours per day so when it is finally served, its brought back without warning so i risk burning out the “motion sensor device” or any other house apliance that i own. how can i not risk damaging any device that is already connected to the wall unit? is there a device that would supress a
spike in voltage, besides a “surge protector”?
