Question by nicolasraage: subwoofer cable question?
Can I use a RCA video cable between a receiver and the subwoofer, or must I use a “digital coaxial cable”?
I know if you use a RCA video cable where a digital coaxial cable is required (such as the audio option from a dvd player) it will work for a short time, and eventually fail.
I’m just not sure if a subwoofer calls for a “digital coaxial cable” or if a standard audio cable will work (which means a video will).

subwoofer’s don”t use coaxial cables, that is a digital signal. any rca audio cable will work, but i dont recomend it becuase it is an issue of sound quality. i would buy a more expensive rca cable for your sub most of them will say subwoofer cable.

I’m presently working here in UK and I have a desktop computer that I bought last year in the Philippines when I went home, I’ll be going home again within a few weeks and I’d like to bring the cpu of this computer and use here in UK. The software that was installed is not an original we had used a pirated microsoft cd installer but I have a plan to reinstall an original one. Will I be facing any problem once they inspect my luggage from the airport of origin to the airport of my destination?

yes there is a problem in transfering the pirated copy of any software. i thin you can follow this take a copy of the OS in an mp3 stick og 1GB and add some mp3 files and bring the OS. and unpack all the hardwares and before that format the Harddisc and make a backup copy of your Desktop computer nad transfer the PC to new place.

im trying to avoid buying computer speakers. i already use my hdtv as the computer monitor not i need to know what kind of cord i need to use to connect it to the surround sound. the surround sound will accept the standard red/white plugs. i need to know what this sort of cord is called so i can find it on ebay or at bestbuy later.

Well it depends… If you’re using a cordless phone, it could be receiving interference from a wireless component on your computer that is operating on the same frequency. You might try purchasing a cordless phone operating a different frequency than your current phone. If the phone is not cordless, then it might have something to do with cables or components on your computer that aren’t magnetically shielded. These are just suggestions as to what might be causing the interference, properly diagnosing a problem like this is difficult to do with out being physically there.
