Worked great for eSata on Mac Mini,
I used this cable to create an eSata port on my late 2009 Mac Mini Server. After opening up the server and taking out the top hard drive I had access to the SATA port. The cable did not fit at first, you have to cut/break off the side parts of the adapter so that it will fit onto the Mac’s SATA port. I used a rotary tool. It took several trial and error sessions to get the right amount shaved off so that it made a good connection. When I say good I mean the cable was connected and data went through fine, the physical connection however felt very loose. I gave the cable some slack and then snapped the top back onto the Mac Mini. The pinching of the case held it in place pretty well so I wasn’t worried about losing the connection internally. I have not had a problem with it since. I recommend this cable, especially for the Mac Mini eSATA hack.

I got this for my PS3 mod. This cable help me connect the internal Sata port to eSata external drive, most simple way to make that possible.

|eSATA to Male SATA Cables that aren’t RED are Hard to Find,
I needed a couple of eSATA to “Male” SATA cables that weren’t 3 feet long and RED. This cable did the trick. Price was good to. Shipping was also fast considering I ordered it a few days before Christmas. I would have preferred them In black but blue is OK.
