Whether or not you hear a difference in sound is based on a lot of factors from setup to equipment to knowledge of installation etc. But what i did notice was 100 ft of 16ga speaker wire for just over 25$ which i think is a good deal.
The jacket on this wire is VERY thick & durable and the interior wire seems good. No complaints for monster @ 25$ per spool.

I recieved my Monster 16guage wire sooner than expected and all 100 feet were accounted for. The price was right too. For those that feel that lamp cord will work the same and is cheaper, I can tell you that it is not. Lamp cord which looks like crap by the way is about $0.25 per foot which equates out to more than I paid for the Monster speaker wire. Don't second guess it, buy the stuff for what it was intended especially if you are going to be burying it in a wall.

I am pleased with the performance of my speakers using this product. I am using a Yamaha 863 receiver and Micro Energy speakers. The sound is clean and clear. I am not a Monster brand "junkie" but I thought these speaker wires did provide the best value for the money especially compared to what other comparable brands sell for in retail stores.

I have used several of Monster's products in the past, but this was my first expierence with the THX cable. The sound difference was instant and very noticable. I hooked up two speakers in my six speaker system to see if there really was a difference to justify the price and immediately was able to tell which speaker had the THX cable. The sound was far crisper, and held more depth. I highly recomend this cable, and the Monster connectors.
