How to I connect to Wifi with my Dell Optiplex GX280?
I need to find a way to connect my Dell Optiplex GX280 to my wifi router preferably by not having to buy a wifi card, does this computer have a built in wifi adapter? Do i need to purchase one?

I check the specs, there is no wireless card inbuilt in it.
You need to ether:
A: buy a wireless card that uses a PCI express x1 or PCI slot
or
B: get a wireless adapter that uses a USB port. (this one will be easier to install)
What type of Hard drive will be compatible with Dell Optiplex GX280?
I am planning to buy a secondary Internal hard drive for my Dell Optiplex GX280 desktop. But not sure on which type I should buy? I see lots of type of HD... EIDE, SATA --- have no clue what will be compatible with my Dell. Can you pl. help? My goal is to spend for decent 150-200 GB HD for low price with no accessory purchase.

I strongly suggest that you buy an external drive that connects through a USB port. That would allow you porability to your next computer or to transfer files to another computer. They are very easy to use compared to an internal drive. And they are cheap and fast. I have several that I store movies on and they are very flexible.

Will an Intel Core 2 Duo Quad Q6600 Processor work with the Dell Optiplex GX280 motherboard? The motherboard has LGA775 socket, but it supports DDR PC4200 RAM (not DDR2).

So... No it wont support that. If it did it would say Core2-Quad or something.
