www.ncix.com High refresh rate is a very noticeable difference when comparing monitors side by side. Watch this episode to see Linus explain why.

@AceStrife I think 16:10 is being phased out for 16:9.
wtf was that thing with work spaces, desktop thingy…. i clearly dont know what i mean… but is that something in ultimate?
the thing around 2:24
@LACKofDIOXIDE 360 runs at 30hz, so no, and if you have $400 to spend on a monitor then build a PC instead n00b
Some One Please Answer
Can you still get 120Hz on this monitor if you use it for Xbox 360
@VarietyGamingMedia It’s an LED LCD monitor. The lighting is LED instead of florescent but it still uses an LCD screen.
@spudvader86 I assume you mean running multi-monitor but still how often you you need to hit the controls? Add to that that it looks like at 6:21 that the controls angle out away from the bezel.
Nice legal version of windows
6:22
@SavageSkull131 4:20 – There are some words about it.
How can you have these in portrait mode when you have the monitors controls at the bottom, they wouldn’t b very flush. Sorry to pick at ur review.
vsync takes out up to 15frames in some games… I also hate vsync…
@allanw Ive notice that couple of time now and commented about it. If you change hardware in pc you have to reactivate the system and if you dont do that it will show that msg and since Linus changes stuff on his test bench very ofter he doesnt care for it
“This copy of Windows is not genuine”
Linus! It’s a LED, lol.
not one word about the inputlag…
over all its much to expensiv for a tn panel.
@cssisdabest The only decent film actually shot in 16:10 was Nightmare Before Christmas, so other than that, why the hell would you LIKE to waste electricity/money lighting up those extra BLACK pixels on the top and bottom.
Not to mention that most higher budget films are in 2.35:1/2.39.
with this monitor im soo good in css
love that monitor.
@HackingDutchman
it has to, just bs marketing by nvidia and benq
I`ve noticed at the begining of the video that you specified something about the cable situation, if i have a laptop and want to HDMI it i won`t be able to gain full advantage of the 120 HZ?? If so, it works with and HDMI -> DVI adapter? I mean, i wanna buy this monitor but i am afraid i won`t benefit of the fully 120 HZ which interests me most. The laptop even the new models since i seend doesen`t have DVI output, only VGA. So HDMI won`t do the trick?
I like 16:9 the most, for games. 16:10 I don’t need.
